Dr. Thomas W. Grange

O.D.

Dr. Thomas Grange is certified by the state of Nebraska to practice optometry. He practices primary vision care and contact lens evaluation with special interest in pre- and post-operative care as well as diagnosis and management of ocular diseases. Dr. Grange completed his undergraduate work at Wayne State College in Nebraska. He graduated from Ohio State University College of Optometry. After four years of private practice in Grand Island, Nebraska, Dr. Grange joined Eye Specialists in 1989. Dr. Grange is a member of the American Optometric Association. In addition to Nebraska, Dr. Grange also holds a license in Iowa. Dr. Grange is a member of the Bellevue Rotary and Knights of Columbus. He looks forward to hunting and fishing trips every fall and winter.

Dr. Patricia L. Reed

O.D.

Dr. Patricia Reed is certified by the states of Nebraska and Iowa to practice optometry including the treatment and management of ocular disease. She treats patients of all ages providing primary eye care to school children as well as to the elderly. In addition, she provides preoperative and postoperative care to cataract and refractive surgery patients. Dr. Reed earned her Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Spanish from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Indiana University School of Optometry. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Nebraska Optometric Association, and the Heart of America Contact Lens Society. Dr. Reed joined Eye Specialists in 1994. Dr. Reed enjoys knitting, reading and tending her garden during the summer.

Dr. Michael A. Chatterson

O.D.

Dr. Michael Chatterson is certified by the states of Nebraska and Missouri to practice optometry. He has a special interest in contact lens fitting and family eye care. He treats patients of all ages, including the treatment and management of ocular disease. Dr. Chatterson attended Indiana University with a major in Biology. He attained his Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. Dr. Chatterson began his career in private practice in St. Joseph, MO. He has worked in the Omaha area for several years, and joined Eye Specialists in 2006. Dr. Chatterson is a Lieutenant Colonel in the Nebraska Air National Guard. He enjoys watching his children’s sporting events and rebuilding muscle cars.

Dr. Margaret Grange

O.D.

Dr. Margaret (Maggie) Grange is certified by the state of Nebraska to practice optometry. She has a special interest in working with the pediatric population. Dr. Grange provides care to patients of all ages, including the treatment and management of ocular disease. Dr. Grange earned her Bachelors degree at Emporia State University in biology. Dr. Grange speaks some Spanish. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Indiana. Dr. Grange joined Eye Specialists in September of 2014. She is a member of the Nebraska Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. Dr. Grange enjoys being involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Midlands. She loves watersports, running, and spending time outdoors.

Dr. Richard Maw

M.D.

Dr. Maw is a Board Certified, Harvard trained, ophthalmologist. He is one of Nebraska’s most experienced eye-surgeons. He has performed over 9,000 cataract surgeries, over 15,000 intravitreal-injections, and over 37,000 LASIK surgeries.


He has also performed thousands of laser-treatments for intraocular-lens opacity, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, retinal tears, and retinal vein occlusions. 


Dr. Maw treats cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and retinal vein occlusions. Dr. Maw does not perform routine eye-examinations, and he does not prescribe glasses or contacts.

Dr. Maw has been trusted to perform surgery on hundreds of doctors, surgeons (including other eye surgeons), military fighter pilots, commercial-airline pilots, military special forces, Olympic athletes, and professional athletes.

He has performed extensive research in ophthalmology, and he published numerous articles in peer review journals. He has presented dozens of scientific papers at the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the International Society of Refractive Surgeons.
